Keeping both parties safe and protected
As a member of The Tutor's Association, I have committed to a recognised profressional code of conduct and ethics. Details of this can be viewed here. I adhere to the Association's Child Protection Policy and partake in regular CPD and training, including safeguarding, as both a member and practising teacher. I hold an up to date and Enhanced DBS certificate as part of my job as a teacher and member of The Tutor's Association.

Tutoring Guidelines for Online Safety
For tutees under the age of 16, a parent should be present during lessons. For online lessons, the parent will be invited to join the lesson if they wish to do so.
All online lessons can recorded by the participant. I will never record sessions myself, unless you request me to do so. Some tutees appreciate reviewing the recording of the lesson for revision purposes.
I use the 'waiting room' facility on Zoom to ensure that only tutees with a password and who can be identified can access our lessons. Students are provided with their own unique Zoom meeting code and password for each lesson.
Parents will also be invited to join GoogleClassroom so that they have full visibility over any interactions between tutor and tutee.
